VICTORIAN FLAGS

Flags are provided through the Department of Premier and Cabinet, on the recommendation of a State Member of Parliament, to certain community groups and organisations.

There is a general expectation that an organisation requesting a flag will display the flag on an exterior flagpole or at public meetings. The organisation must be voluntary, based on philanthropic motives and have a high profile in the community.

OVERSEAS STUDENT KITS

Victorian promotional kits are available to individual students travelling overseas on exchange programs.

The kits provide background information on Victorian and Australia to assist students in preparing presentations on their home country. A written request should be addressed to Craig Ingram MP and should include the name of the student, school attended, country being visited and the departure date.
